Summer is winding down, and what better way to savor the end of the season than by spending Labor Day at Lake Tahoe. From your home base at Constellation at Northstar, head down to the village for an event packed weekend, or, if you prefer to avoid the crowds, relax poolside with a cocktail and BBQ favorites at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. Finish off the weekend with a bang at the annual fireworks extravaganza in South Lake. Here’s a taste of what’s to come….
Friday Fun Nights in the Village at Northstar are the perfect way to kick off the weekend with your family. Enjoy roller skating, face painting and balloon twisting with the kids while listening to live jams at the Village Stage. From the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, take a guided hike or learn a new culinary technique. Mom and Dad will love the Margaritas & Mini Golf Special! Friday, 5-8pm
With winter only a few months away, now is the time to save on all the mountain essentials. This four day tent sale features gear up to 60% off from brands like Salomon, Atomic, Burton, Oakley, Line, Armada, Forum, Dalbello, Rome, Lange and Nordica….just to name a few! Schedule varies by day.
Presented by MacMurray Ranch, this wine walk features a number of different varietals and styles of wine from the much beloved Sonoma County. Sip Vin Gris, Rose, and Pinot Noir while strolling through the Village at Northstar. Saturday, 3-6pm.
If wine isn’t your preference, add the Northstar Brew Walk to your weekend itinerary. Held from 3-6 pm on Sunday, August 31st, this walk features a variety of microbrews from various west coast locales, as well as tasty snacks and live music.
You don’t need to wait until next 4th of July to get your fireworks fix! Take a short ride to the South Shore and enjoy the annual Labor Day display from your location of choice. Sunday, 8:30 pm
